Frontier Oil Tools AtlasTM Ported Cement Retainer Approved for Field Trials in Saudi Arabia

Frontier Oil Tools received approval to proceed with field trials of its 7-in, 20–32 lb/ft Atlas™ Ported Cement Retainer in Saudi Arabia, advancing the technology to the next stage of field qualification.

The approval followed technical review by the customer’s engineering team and enables Frontier Oil Tools to move from the evaluation stage to field testing under operating conditions.

The Atlas™ Ported Cement Retainer forms part of Frontier Oil Tools’ portfolio of well completion technologies. The upcoming field trials will provide the operational basis for evaluating the tool’s performance and suitability for the intended completion application.

Field qualification represents an important step in progressing a completion technology toward broader operational use. Results from the trial program will support the next stage of technical evaluation and potential application of the Atlas™ Ported Cement Retainer in Saudi Arabia.
