Frontier Oil Tools LIGHTNING™ Dissolvable Frac Plug Approved for Testing in Saudi Arabia

Frontier Oil Tools received approval to proceed with testing of its LIGHTNING Dissolvable Frac Plug for acid applications in Saudi Arabia, advancing the technology to the next stage of qualification.

The approved testing program will evaluate the LIGHTNING™ Dissolvable Frac Plug for its intended application before the technology progresses to field trials.

Subject to successful completion of the testing stage, Frontier Oil Tools plans to proceed with field trials in Saudi Arabia. These trials will provide the operational basis for further evaluation of the tool under field conditions.

The testing approval represents an important step in the qualification pathway for the LIGHTNING™ Dissolvable Frac Plug and supports Frontier Oil Tools’ continued development of completion technologies for the Saudi market.
